Occupants satisfaction is crucial for the acceptance of combined natural and artificial lighting solutions to achieve energy optimization. We proposed a Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE) to asses Visual Satisfaction on a public institution at Mendoza’s Metropolitan Area. Objective photometric measurements are crossed with Satisfaction surveys between December, 2009 and December, 2010. Some tendencies are now presented. Lighting levels are below current normative, with mild levels of dissatisfaction that lower as iluminance grows. Occupants refer dissatisfaction with natural lighting and we observed that this variable is more important than artificial lighting for global visual satisfaction. Also, some seasonal variations in this weighting were absent in artificial lighting. POE remains as the most appropriate method to analyze workspaces from the user’s point of view.
