So far in 2020, social policies have acquired a visible centrality in state agendas, dedicated to dealing with the health emergency caused by COVID-19. In the Argentine case, a policy called Emergency Family Income (EFI) has been implemented, consisting of a cash transfer intended to contain the problems generated by Social, Preventive and Compulsory Isolation (SPCI) around the receipt of income from part of households. In this framework, this writing proposes to explore the emotions linked to the management and perception of the EFI from the realization of a virtual ethnography in a Facebook group of people linked to this program, intended to exchange information about the EFI. It is concluded that the reception of the EFI was crossed by uncertainty as a complex and multidimensional emotion.
