This article offers a first approachto a set of patriographies published in Argentina in the last twodecades that focuses on how that link appears in them: that"we" made up of father and son. In addition, it focuses on howthese texts almost always thematize, in various ways, three issues:death, conversation and vocation. Likewise, it is postulated thatbeyond the intentions of the son-biographer concerning hisfather in particular, patriography is always a textual space inwhich some form of filiation or continuity is plotted.
