estrategia a utilizar.
Crickets (Gryllidae) are omnivorous insects that can become pests. In the Argentine Northwest, Salta province stands out as the most participatory in the inflow of vegetables in the Central Market of Buenos Aires, being Colonia Santa Rosa, a town in the department of Orán (Salta, Argentina) dedicated mainly to the intensive cultivation of vegetables. This activity is carried out under intense tillage practices that generate soil erosion. However, some production systems that practice regenerative soil management have begun to suffer from a series of emerging problems, such as crickets of the Gryllus and Anurogryllus genus. To carry out rational control of this pest, it is necessary to know its population dynamics, in order to correctly choose the strategy to use. The objective of this study was to compare two types of traps, one with food attraction (AAT) and another with light attraction (LAT) for monitoring crickets in a sustainable horticultural system in Salta province.18 monitorings were carried out from January to March. The TAL presents a greater capture (>10 crickets) than the food attraction, being more effective than those of food attraction for monitoring crickets in sustainable horticultural systems.
