Julio Meinvielle (1905-1973) was a renowned priest of Catholic Integralism, the primary current of Argentine Catholicism in the 1930s and 1940s. A prominent member of the Catholic Renaissance of the first half of the 20th century, the priest argues that the construction of a Catholic City and a universal Christian Empire requires a theological perspective capable of revealing, behind the intricate historical and political phenomena, the authentic meaning of history. Through this understanding, humankind can accurately diagnose its own era, its place in the grand narrative of world history, and guide its destiny toward its assigned purpose. This article aims to analyze the Meinvielle's theological reading on national and international context during the interwar period (1930-1946), in his vision of restoring the medieval paradise in the face of the Judaization of the modern world.
