This paper reflects the evolution of the teaching proposal in the Watershed Management course of the Forest Engineering degree program at UNLP, for the period 2019-2022. The characteristics of the pedagogical model, its conversion to online modality and the return to technology-enhanced face-to-face teaching are described. The experience provided a practical and objective framework that enhanced technical-operational skills and established a space for interaction that contributes and transmits knowledge. Group work within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) was transversal to the acquisition, integration and application of knowledge oriented to Territorial/Environmental Management. The experience suggested that the relationship between those involved in the pedagogical act, mediated or not by virtual tools and linked to the idea of simulation, was efficient in terms of classroom practices, study program, pedagogical approaches and evaluation instances implemented.
