The project aims to expose critically the web of metaphysic-political foundations that ground the meaning and development of both contemporary science and technology. Simmultaneously, we attempt to produce a study that considers the forms of power/knowledge colonialism expressed explicitly in the scientific and technological development in Latin America. Starting from the notions of representation, experience and power, we will analyse the hierarchies and valuations that emerge from these fundamentals. We will analyse specifically the development of quantum physics in the twentieth century after the creation of the atomic bomb (Manhattan Project) and the creation of the so-called “Big Science”. Finally, determine the radical transformation of the notions of representation and experience within contemporary science and technology.
