Over the last few years the women's movement has impacted the public scene, not only locally but also internationally stimulating new reflections and studies in the social sciences. In this article we focus on the intersection between gender and unionism, starting from the question about the militancy of workers, considering their participation in the women's movement. In order to advance this concern we will consider, in addition to the areas and practices that it involves, the workers' perceptions regarding gender demands and their treatment by trade union organizations. In methodological terms, we focus on the data provided by the Worker Survey that we applied between 2016 and 2018 in three labor structures in industry and services, and on documents prepared by the union organizations under study.
