This article focuses on the relationship between the experiences of teachers and their training. We claim that in teaching practices, and in the processes of identification as teachers, they make use of their own experiences. In those uses, made from their present as teachers -within concrete socio-historical contexts, which generate both conditions of possibility and limitations-, they set in motion and resignify various vital dimensions that articulate different aspects of their trajectories. This has profound implications for understanding teacher training and is one of the cornerstones from which we build a proposal to teach Anthropology from the contributions of the disciplinary tradition itself.
