In this article, we reconstruct the axes of student criticism of the university model of the last dictatorship in Argentina (1976-1983) and of its main university policies (reduction of student enrollment and admission, setting of tuition fees, closing of careers, elimination of university autonomy and co-government, among others). Likewise, we reflect on the place of this agenda in the process of reorganization and reconfiguration of the student movement of the University of Buenos Aires. To do this, we describe the main repertoires of action deployed by the student movement against these policies and analyze the place of the 1918 reformist ideology in the articulation of criticism of dictatorial university policy and in the elaboration of alternative models.
