This article approaches the problem of spinozism as one of the sources of German Idealism. In this problematic context, it states that the attitude that Fichte and Schelling assume towards Spinoza is indebted of the views about this doctrine maintained by Jacobi and Lessing throughout the conversation which took place among them in Wolfenbüttel in 1780 and Jacobi made public during the Spinozism Controversy. This article shows that while Fichte inherits the more anti-spinozistic position of Jacobi, Schelling adopts the point of view of Lessing and embraces the hen kai pan.
