In a context where the right wing governs and advances in every sense, terror appears as a constant threat. The logic of productivism weighs heavily and corners people, but so does the decision to exterminate a state and everything that depends on it. In this paper, we specifically address the situation of workers at the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) in Argentina since Javier Milei took office as president in December 2023. His party, La Libertad Avanza (LLA), has positioned itself since the campaign period against the state itself, considering it to be the center of the country's problems. Among its primary enemies are public universities and CONICET. As workers in the organization, we are a living part of what is narrated here. This work recovers narratives from 40 people from Córdoba, Argentina, who research and do science within the institution. On the one hand, we employ an essayistic style of writing and analysis; and, on the other hand, we use qualitative techniques as tools to collect information and understand it from a situated, feminist perspective focused on affective epistemology. From these accounts, we understand that resistance and feminist networks become practices of care in hostile and precarious contexts.
