This essay examines the experiences of rural women participating in rural tourism projects supported by INTA in Argentina. We analyze the actions implemented by INTA to incorporate a gender perspective, including documents, regulatory instruments, platforms, and programs. This is complemented by an analysis of three case studies, which together highlight the role of rural women in these initiatives. Our findings suggest that participation in rural tourism projects is significant for rural women, underscoring the need for INTA to develop and strengthen management tools that address intersectionality.
