Reflexiones acerca del carácter antidemocrático de la gubernamentalidad neoliberal

Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo es indagar el carácter antidemocrático del neoliberalismo. Razón por la cual, nos valdremos del prisma de la analítica de la gubernamentalidad foucaultiana. En ese sentido, dividiremos el cuerpo del texto en dos parágrafos y un apartado de reflexión. Primero, nos ocuparemos de reconstruir las herramientas teórico-conceptuales forjadas por el filósofo francés Michel Foucault. Luego, nos proponemos mostrar en qué sentido el neoliberalismo, problematizado desde la grilla de la gubernamentalidad, puede ser caracterizado como una racionalidad de gobierno antidemocrática. De este modo, buscaremos contribuir al presente dossier desde un encuadre anclado en los debates de la teoría política contemporánea.The aim of this article is to investigate the anti-democratic nature of neoliberalism. That is why we will use the prism of the analysis of governmentality forged by Michel Foucault. In this sense, we will divide the body of the text into two paragraphs and a section for reflection. First, we will deal with the reconstruction of the theoreticalconceptual tools forged by the French philosopher Michel Foucault. Then, we intend to show in which sense neoliberalism, problematized from the grid of governmentality, can be characterized as an anti-democratic government rationality. In this way, we will try to contribute to the present dossier from a framework anchored in the debates of contemporary political theory.
