In this paper we address —in political terms— the aesthetic operations of Alejandro Rubio´s literature, where media, literary and strictly political discourses appear as ways to produce fictions that interweave. From an aesthetic level, Rubio replaces one order for another, raises «aesthetic acts that give rise to new ways of feeling and introduce new forms of subjectivity» (Rancière). Media transgression, montage and pastiche techniques, the subversion of hierarchy between high and low culture categories and working with media language are aesthetic acts into a system that disrupts the regimes of visibility, i.e. «places and body count» (Rancière), and are also part of marginal ways of production which become explicitly political while they are in service of what is privatized turns into public. From then on, we try to think how Rubio resets a regime of appearance by using those elements crystallized in the social Media through a simulation policy as its main raw material, i.e., a policy that ensures that everything is in its assigned place.
