Since the 1990s, the consolidation of (in)security as a public problem, the fragmentation of public space in terms of consumption and class membership can be appreciated. These phenomena have resulted in an increase in the State budget allocated to the Security forces and the demand for private security companies. In this process, we find that the practices carried out by private security agents, often invisible, play a key role in ordering the daily routine of community life. In the public sphere, shocking events that make visible the violence in the management of order in private hands, reopen the debate periodically for the type of security necessary in public and mass access spaces. The goal of this article is to approach an alternative type to police ́s security and a specific one to these spaces, the admission and permanence control: an area within the private security dedicated to the care and protection of people, such as customers, circulating in a certain space. In this way the imposed order would allow the development and maximization of the profits of the area where it is inserted.
