Ingredientes para preparar una (o varias) historia(s) del teatro de títeres

Abstract

Los títeres “existen” más allá de la puesta en escena: son objetos de la cultura material y esta existencia pre y post teatral lleva a preguntarnos por su presencia en los archivos. En este trabajo me propongo reflexionar sobre los ingredientes para preparar una (o varias) historia(s) del teatro de títeres: cuáles son los materiales que tenemos disposición (o no) al momento de reconstruir espectáculos y experiencias con muñecos. Los documentos provenientes de archivos institucionales y de archivos personales han resultado reservorios privilegiados en esta tarea. Sin embargo, el títere, en tanto protagonista de la puesta en escena, puede ofrecernos pistas del espectáculo, del proceso creativo previo y de la forma de trabajo de determinado grupo o artista.Puppets "exist" beyond stage: they are objects of material culture and this pre and post-theatrical existence leads us to wonder about their presence in the archives. In this work I aim to reflect on the ingredients to prepare one (or several) history(ies) of puppet theater: what are the materials available (or not) at the moment of reconstructing shows and experiences with puppets. Documents from institutional archives and personal archives have been privileged reservoirs in this task. However, the puppet, as a staging protagonist, can offer us some clues about the show, the creative process and the work of a group or artist.
