During the year 2020, in a particular context, we have seen our teaching practices interrupted. It became essential for us to reinvent the structures that had been supporting the face-to-face teaching and learning process and to adapt them to the virtuality. Teaching experiences in Chemistry related subjects of two Faculties of UNMdP are integrated in this work. Herein, we reflect on how the bond between teachers and students is built in the context of virtuality. Also, we reflect on how this bond is crossed by our uncertainty as teachers, and by the modifications that we have introduced in the subjects. This crisis forces us and allows us to rethink ourselves as teachers and to learn new tools to improve the accompaniment of our students.
