This article is part of the processes of indigenous relationalities in the region of the coast and the valley of the province of Chubut (Argentine Patagonia), in which people who selfidentify as Mapuche-Tehuelche became involved. Based on the reflection of their trajectories, I am interested in showing how the Mapuche-Tehuelche articulated in specific ways their own ways of relating to memories in the process of being restored, giving meaning to their affections and struggles in an urban context in which they were not considered as political subjects. In addition to briefly historicizing some of the processes of ethnic vindication in a region where the indigenous only existed as an aesthetic object of provincial folklore, this article aims to reflect on the political practices with which urban indigenous challenged the hegemonic scenarios. From occupying the official senses in which they were made visible, the Mapuche-Tehuelche of the region formed a particular "being together" in which they interweaved heterogeneous trajectories, diverse origins, and transits in a common urban territory.
