Hundidos en el barro: Imaginación espacial y desechos en La Virgen Cabeza

Abstract

Este trabajo propone revisar los imaginarios de la crisis de los 90 en Argentina y su relación con la ficción en La Virgen Cabeza de Gabriela Cabezón Cámara. A partir de una escritura que explora las dimensiones de la imagen y la lengua, la materialidad de la basura, la acumulación de desechos y la emergencia de nuevos territorios, indagaremos en los modos en que la ficción despliega otros regímenes visuales y dispositivos ópticos que intervienen en la temporalidad del fin de milenio.This paper aims to review the imaginary of the crisis of the 90s in Argentina and its relationship with fiction in La Virgen Cabeza of Gabriela Cabezón Cámara. From a writing that explores the dimensions of the image and language, the materiality of the garbage and the accumulation of waste and the emergence of new territories, we will investigate the ways in which fiction displays other visual regimes and optical devices that intervene in the temporality of the end of the millennium.
