The purpose of this article is to show that the Copernican (Kant) turn centered on the transcendental Ego has been questioned and critically reviewed by the contemporary linguistic-hermeneutical turn, said of Scannone. This double criticality is possible from the reinterpretation of the essential categories of modern metaphysics whose initial kick can be placed at the «other beginning» of the thinking that Heidegger produces for contemporary philosophy. Thus, the thesis we support in this article is that this new critical rationality is synthesized in the notion of Heidegger's Event.
