The current paper is based in a research on 48 biographical narratives by people that where children during the last Argentinean dictatorship. The article is focused on the experiences of children whose families were not politically actives among the leftist groups, that is, “common children”. Memory is, therefore, a pivot that allows us to analyze the relationship between childhood, subjectivity and power. The main question could be stated as how it is possible to uncover the interpelation to parents and relatives for their possible responsibility in the past, in the personal historical narrative? How one could understand the continuities between political views in the everyday life and the authoritarian discourse and the repression?
