The aim of this paper is to analyze some theoretical keys about the account of the subject that Judith Butler builds based on references from both psychoanalysis and foucauldian thought. In order to accomplish this aim, we outline a sketch through some of the categories that constitute the analytic base that supports her views. To conclude, we point out some critiques and suggestions.
