In this work we will investigate the implications that multiple employment in nursing has for the organization of care responsibilities within the home. The findings presented here arise from doctoral research where we analyse the multidimensionality of nursing care work by investigating the experiences of workers from private health institutions in La Plata during the period 2018-2021. In this article, we will use interviews conducted in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic with female nurses who work two jobs and are responsible for caring for young children. We will argue that workers deploy a series of daily negotiations to manage the demands they experience as a result of having two jobs and being responsible for care tasks within the home. Likewise, we will point out that these multiple demands intensified during the health emergency.
