Crecimiento de grano tridimensional usando método de Monte Carlo

Abstract

En este trabajo se estudió el crecimiento de grano en 3 dimensiones (3D) mediante el método de Monte Carlo (MC). Las simulaciones fueron hechas sobre una muestra de 100x100x100 sitios y se registraron los tamaños de grano medio y su función distribución en cada paso de Monte Carlo. La simulaciones con MC permitían estudiar el crecimiento de grano en muestras 3D con partículas de segunda fase y en muestras 3D libre de partículas. En este trabajo se estudió conjuntamente por primera vez el efecto de partículas inmóviles y móviles sobre las propiedades del crecimiento de grano.The grain growth in 3 dimensions (3D) was studied using the Monte Carlo algorithm (MC).
