The article analyzes B Corporations as a contemporary expression of capitalist justification. It examines how this movement, emerging from the U.S. NGO B Lab, combines an ethical narrative with a legal and organizational device to reconcile profitability, sustainability, and purpose. Through a qualitative analysis of regulatory documents, digital campaigns, and certification standards, it explores how B Corporations seek to redefine the purpose of the capitalist firm and its contribution to the common good. The findings show that the B model is embedded in a global sustainability industry that standardizes moral values into metrics and audits, shifting the political dispute over the common good toward a technical–managerial and individual-responsibility domain. Although still a minority within the corporate universe, B Corporations translate contemporary social critique into management forms that renew the repertoires of capitalist legitimation.
