We start by rethinking the ties between research, teaching and extension in public universities and how this articulation, especially in Social Sciences, promotes and empowers instances of territorial work and the generation of inputs for the production of public politics. Secondly we address the importance of the insertion of gender studies in the Universitysphere. According this framework, we position ourselves from the feminist epistemology, understood as thatwhich, in addition of focusing on women and dissent people as an object of study, seeks to sharpen the critic gaze to achieve the generation of transformative processes. From there, we present and reflect over our experience with the project “Tokick mandates: football, communication and women”, that details the description of objectives, the development and evaluation of the activities and their future lines of action.
