The morphometric studies of hydrographic basins constitute the bases for the understanding of the fluvial dynamics that intervene there, and therefore, their knowledge is fundamental for the territorial ordering. In this sense, the objective of this work is to show which are the morphometric characteristics of the Baró stream basin, of great local importance, since a large part of its middle section up to its mouth is located in the urban area of La San Roque town. In this sense, given the small size and characteristics of its basin, the city is under constant threat of flood risks, which can appear recurrently and suddenly. This work constitutes a first contribution in the contribution of urban planning, as well as in the mitigation and early warning of flood risks.
