It houses a total of 2,795 specimens of lichens of which 2300 correspond to all the provinces of Argentina, with the Patagonian and central provinces being the best represented. From the recent process of computerization and subsequent incorporation into the “Aurora” database belonging to the MACN, the collection was organized and digitized.
