In the teaching-learning process, summative evaluation constitutes a critical stage. This evaluation allows accrediting the knowledge acquired by the students, and hence it has great relevance. However, fairly reflecting students' knowledge in a grade is a task that has proven to be difficult and prone to being influenced by teacher subjectivity. In this context, a method is proposed that allows designing and qualifying a summative evaluation. This method reduces the margin for subjectivity, contemplates the importance of the aspects to be evaluated and provides better feedback for both the teacher and the students.
