In recent years in Argentina we have witnessed a growing prominence of social movements associated with the Popular Economy. Since the end of the Kirchnerist government in 2015, and after the successive presidencies of Mauricio Macri and Alberto Fernández, these organizations have boosted their strategies and strengthened the pillars on which they are based. This article explains the three main strategies of these organizations at the present time: territorial, trade union and political-institutional. At the same time, it shows that the public performance of these movements is based on three pillars: their organizational resources, their ideational resources and their own agenda. Finally, the challenges brought about by the current political growth of this sector are described.
