Beyond the general uses of this phenomenon of the so-called “web 2.0”, we identified –in the research project we are carrying out– a new space where some interactions could be analyzed in depth: videogames of social media. Millions of users that play social games on a daily basis –specifically on Facebook– they place these new ludic interactions as meaningful experiences for the contemporary culture of play and, by extension, to contemporary culture in general terms. In this sense, we have done an analysis of the main social games of Facebook. We will identify which meanings, themes and interactions are favored (and obstructed) in these videogames. Game is a deep activity and not at all trivial: for this reason it is important to analyze representations and transformations that occur in contemporary ludic culture with the emergence of new technologies.
