In this article, we study the museographic presentation of the ESMA Museum and Site of Memory, located in the former Officers' Casino of the Navy Mechanics School (ESMA) since 2015. In this same building, one of the main Clandestine Detention Centers (CDC) in Argentina was in operation between 1976 and 1983. Our objective is to understand the uses and meanings that testimonial voices assume within the museum narrative through an analysis of how experiences of violence, the spatialities that host them, the portrayal of the truth, the temporalities between them and their meanings are incorporated and configured in this memorial initiative.
