In this article we socialize a series of reflections that emerge from the analysis of the results of an action-research process whose intention is to identify and analyze the meanings linked to the daily experiences that young people construct about life and death (real and/or symbolic) according to their gender identity ascription. The reflections that we share arise from the encounter of diverse moralizing meanings on the consumption of young women in times of pandemic. In this framework, we will present some analytical keys regarding conflictive community processes whose protagonists are young mothers who are consumers living in poor urban contexts of Cordoba, Argentina, recognizing subjective dimensions that overlap and are crossed by markers of violation, according to the gender ascriptions assumed by young women. From a qualitative methodology and a gendered reading, we will analyze meanings that are manifested in practices and modalities of encounters with young mothers. The analysis is complemented with secondary sources that allow us to show how certain markers of vulnerability accumulate (statistics, reports and research). The study seeks to broaden and discuss diagnostic dimensions and psychosocial approaches in genders that contribute to integrality and enable the construction of practices aimed at improving community health.
