The aim of the paper to analyze the interaction between vegetation and the river landscape in a basin of the Ventania System. Three types of interactions were identified and analyzed: the first links the presence of vegetation with changes in flow speed, the second relates the increase in sediment when the channel is colonized and the last links the formation of bars and subsequent processes. of spontaneous colonization. These results are relevant to understanding the feedback between vegetation, flow regimes and their link with the morphology of the river course and thus make contributions to the understanding of biogeomorphological changes to design appropriate management practices in river spaces.
