In the context of a training workshop at a non-university tertiary teacher training institute, attended by 103 prospective mathematics teachers, a Likert-type questionnaire was administered, based on the categories proposed by Queiros et al. (2022, 2024), to evaluate the digital educational resource (DER) Triángulo Resgate, designed for teaching trigonometry in secondary school. Before answering the questionnaire, the teachers played all levels of the game. A reliability analysis of the questionnaire was performed, and the responses obtained are described. The results show that the prospective teachers prioritize the game’s clarity, structure, and curriculum alignment, while autonomy and rewards are valued less. This indicates a preference for structured and predictable resources and raises the challenge of leveraging its potential to foster more exploratory and autonomous teaching approaches.
