This work aims to articulate the critical positions of Theodor Adorno and Louis Althusser with regard to their conceptions of subject, ideology and art, in a context of fading of bygone forms of reconciliation of man. The aim is to show to what extent both conceive the subject as ideological subject, and deploy their implications in the field of historical materialism, for Althusser, and in the aesthetic realm to Adorno. The work will focus on this purpose.
