They are discussed and tend to reappear in the debate issues related to curriculum, financing, evaluation, articulation between training subsystems and the complexity of educational practices. In this article, we present the first research findings in relation to the challenges facing teacher training according to the voices of specialists and academic references in the field. This polyphony of narratives is part of a doctoral research whose objective is to interpret teacher training policies from the narrative records of the actors themselves. Methodologically we use the biographical-narrative approach since it offers an alternative way to describe and analyze educational processes, practices and policies, adopting a criticalinterpretative epistemological positioning that recovers the human face of teacher education.
