This article intends to be a contribution to the understanding of the school system, exploring other ways that can be possible within it. Certainly, school –beyond its pretension of neutrality– has been a privileged institution to configure a conception of the world and an unequivocal image of the Other which correspond to the occidental, modern and European cosmovision. The successful of this configuration consists in the concealment of the artificial and political nature of the school operation, contributing to the expansion of a cosmovision that belongs to a particular social class, promoted as a universal one. This cosmovision is based on the elimination of any trace of subjectivity or geopolitical origin in the pursuit of universalism as the unique epistemology. The perspective of Rodolfo Kusch is an invitation to a radical thinking. One option to open ourselves to the Other of the Same, to deconstruct the approach of the school as an object of study emphasizing the «proto-ontic» condition: «to be someone different of the Same»; and another theoretical concern is about the estar, mere estar, the «pre-ontic» condition. This level of analysis allows a sort of criticism that has hardly been explored. It involves the «revolution of the mask which covers the own bourgeois misery» and the challenge to the pretension of «being without estar», denying our human condition.
