The extreme-right has often been seen as distant from the workers' movement, if not outright hostile to it. However, recent historiography has nuanced this picture by showing how these groups were not only interested in the situation of manual laborers and their unions, but also determined to win their support. This article aims to contribute to such scholarship by looking into Raúl Alfonsín's presidency, when journals like Cabildo endured while others like Alerta Nacional and El Ataque joined the fray. Through these cases, the role of the working class and syndicalism in their critique will be traced, as well as their place in the political culture of Catholic Traditionalists, Neo-Nazis and right-wing Peronists
