The article concentrates on conception of human nature on Ambrose of Milan’s early treatise On Paradise dealing with Philo of Alexandrie anthropology. Paradise representation as an allegory of soul is condensed in the notion of ‘innocence’, framed in the doctrine that conceives the man as a being created as “image of God”. So, On paradise describes the shaped man by Creator and presents his original condition, as image of what human being had been and is called up to be, in the frames of the links between man and woman, humanity and nature, and humanity and divinity.
