The built heritage in a context of mediatization of experience, is presented as a reality with which it has become difficult to link through other senses that escape the predominance of the visual. As a consequence, interaction with cultural assets is diversified, favouring their protection in some cases and neglecting their care in others. The present work proposes to analyze the link heritagememory-senses and the construction generated between them, from the spatial experience of visually impaired people. Since a visual relationship cannot be established between a person and a building, it is investigated what happens to those whose perceptive field is different and they stress the memory-built relationship. This experience allows us to establish a reflection that seeks to recover other dynamics of heritage conservation, showing which are the possibilities of relation through other senses from the visual disability(s), and which memories emerge/are activated and imprinted in the heritage through these experiences that go beyond the ocular order. The approach developed for the built heritage in this work recovers the idea/practice of active conservation, pointing out its importance for the enrichment of the collective memory, the recognition of its authenticity and variable character of its value as well as the importance in the appropriation by the whole community
