Nowadays, scientific work cannot be conceived without a clear commitment to interdisciplinarity. And by this we mean to overcome the mere exchange between the knowledge inherent to each particular discipline and turn it into a reciprocal approach based on transdisciplinarity. In this sense, this article presents the results of the first archaeogeophysical research carried out in an archaeological site located in Londres, Catamarca province, called El Shincal de Quimivil. Our research intends to explore the past of one of the most emblematic Inka occupations in the Argentine northwest. A geophysical method based on electromagnetic induction was used, which allowed us to obtain a rapid determination of the electrical conductivity of the subsoil, minimizing the archaeological impact on the site. The first results were focused on the inka plaza and reveal the presence of possible structures or sets of elements related to various ceremonial activities. This is a significant contribution to the research that we have been carrying out at El Shincal, since it allows us to generate new hypotheses that must be contrasted with archaeological.
