Los dilemas del Estado moderno según Max Weber: un recorrido por sus Escritos Políticos (1917-1920)

Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo es identificar y precisar en qué consisten los aportes conceptuales que realiza Weber al estudio del Estado moderno en sus Escritos Políticos del lapso 1917-1920. A partir de un análisis crítico de contenido, identifico cuatro ejes o problemas centrales que tienen la forma de dilemas o dicotomías: liderazgo político-despotismo burocrático, parlamentarismo-gobierno del populacho y cesarismo, parlamentarismo-absolutismo burocrático, burocratización rentista-capitalismo. El problema central del que dan cuenta estos dilemas es, según sostengo, el de la organización del Estado capitalista en un momento histórico clave para la hegemonía política burguesa.the objective of this article is to identify and define Weber´s conceptual contributions to the study of the modern State in his Political Writings for the 1917-1920 lapse. From a critical content analysis, I identify four central axes or problems that have the form of dilemmas or dichotomies: “political leadership-bureaucratic despotism”, “parliamentarianism-government of the mob and cesarism”, “parliamentarianism- bureaucratic absolutism”, “rentist bureaucratization -Capitalism”. The central problem that these dilemmas account to is, according to what I maintain, the organization of the capitalist State in a key historical moment for the bourgeois political hegemony.
