Regulation of hydrologic cycle is one of the ecosystem services of mayor impact around the world and its disturbance has modified availability and vulnerability of rural population to obtain drinking water and water for irrigation. The aim of this work was to analyze the spatial distribution of the ecosystem service of water supply related to changes in land use, in the watershed of the Napaleofu Creek, in the South East of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The InVEST model was used, based on a biophysical objectivity that considers land use, soil, topographic and climatic characteristics. The study included three land use scenarios: 1986, 1996 and 2011, results allowed us to evaluate the evolution of water supply service in the watershed, becoming a helpful tool for decision holders in order to select future plans for territorial management.
