Through an ethnographic study is examined where and by what means the persons involved arbitrate health problems. After examining how they link the practices of primary health care in this context, hegemonic conceptions of health and the ways in which wichí communities pose their demands, it raises some theoretical and methodological precautions necessary to understand in its complexity the political dimension of health.
