This paper discusses the relation between territory and citizenship in the period of globalization. First, we develop of a general way the idea of used territory, comprised like synonymous of geographical space, in permanent transformation along the history. Second, we argue a constitutional perspective of analysis of space or the possibility to understand it as a system of objects, actions and norms. In the third moment, we analyse a relational perspective of geographical space that considers the different scales of reality: world, socio-spatial formation and place. Fourth, we consider the territorial divisions of labour in the period of the globalization, conformed by new objects, actions and norms that redefine the places and the nation and, in consequence, the capacity of action of the actors, the scopes and limitations of the citizenship. Finally, we restart the notion of used territory as an aggregated of all the forms of labour and life, in other words, as a field of realisation of the daily, that can show new political ways.
