This research looks forward to contribute to the debates about migration, childhood and youth. It is held by a currently-carried investigation with migrating Bolivian population in Buenos Aires province. The text is focused in the migrant adults projections about the national identification of the younger generations. The perspectives of the assimilation and the current critical developments of the notion of second generations that associate this notion to processes of signaling from the state are put in question. It is specially aimed to complement this previously mentioned approximation, paying attention to the expectations of identity continuity of collectives in situation of mobility, dispossession and discrimination, deeply challenged in their possibilities of generational transmission.
