In this article of review it will be exposed the concept of hospitality according to Jacques Derrida’s contributions, taking into account the researches that the authors of this text are developing in relation to the African sub-Saharan immigration that has arrived to Argentina from the 90s. Thus, we start with theoretical approaches made by the French philosopher in order that we can establish on what terms the hospitality takes place in Argentine in relation with the sub-Saharan immigration. For this, it is necessary to check the political and legal system for knowing the laws of hospitality and ask for its benefi ts and limits. And in this sense, we suggest the relationship between the hospitality and the democracy to come. Finally, we want to ask questions about the link among hospitality and solidarity in a global neoliberalism.
