The international actors role in health research is key to comprehend what science is promoted and what role the Argentine National State plays in its promotion and regulation. Using a quantitative and qualitative approach, this paper shows the results that emerge from exploring different actors that sponsor researchs at Buenos Aires province level which appear in the Provincial Health Research Registry between 2009-2018. The analysis shows that pharmaceutical corporations participation from the outside is uppermost in the clinical trials financing and is mainly oriented to the study and treatment of diseases that attend to its own specific interests leaving aside those problems establish as priorities by public policy in health research. In this way, this proceeding affects the State capacity to respond to the argentine society health needs.
